I signalled Dolly to. get near the vicinity of the area. One of the perquisites to finish the quest is already which is to slay all of the 100,000 demons. The only one left to kill is the General Demon Abaddon.

There were no further movements in the area. However, I am not too sure so I tried to use one of the necromancer skill that I have received after using the skill book that the Necromancer who owned the mansion of the magician duke dropped. It was one of the three unique skill called Raise the Dead.

"Raise the Dead!"

A system cursor appeared on my vision. From the looks of it, any of the dead bodies that the cursor targets would be the one affected by the spell.

I targeted one of the demons that died after being killed by the darts. Its body is intact, making it easy to raise than those demons with broken bodies. It rattles a bit and shook for a while before it rises up and walk steadily.

I tried commanding it and indeed, this dead monster that I revived immediately followed my orders. I never expected it to be that easy but its mana consuming. Also, from the looks of it, if you use the skill on a higher leveled monster, for example, a boss, that would be not available. If that would happen, it would be too OP and the player would certainly rely on that.

I ordered the newly resurrected demon to scout for the places. If the boss gets alerted to my presence, there would be chaos. From my perspective, the Demon General Abaddon is currently not awake, since he was not able to notice the commotion outside his control. If he noticed it earlier, he would have already foiled my plans to naught.

I heightened my senses and check my surroundings for any disturbances. In the past timeline, Abaddon is one of the bosses I faced from the same chain quest that Leto issued to me. Who would have thought I have the chance to fight this guy again. And besides the fact that I am going to face him, the rewards for killing him is bigger. The only difference is that, the quest that Abaddon appears is only labeled as Hard, not a Very Hard or Insane like the quest I am facing today.

When I faced Abaddon in the past, he was severely weakened due to a mishap from his experiments, causing his power to plummet. If that is the case, if the Abaddon right now is the same one that I faced in the past, the quest's difficulty should only be Very Hard since if you add the hundred thousand demons, it would only amount to Very Hard and not the Insane difficulty. The only feasible idea is that the boss this time is in his full force and ready to kill. U can't just take this guy easily.

Soon enough, I saw someone kneeling on a very big altar. The altar is a grand and has been carved with gold. If this altar exist in the real world, many people will start fighting to own this altar and take the gold attached to the walls.

I stopped around 30 meters away from the guy who was kneeling. If this guy is Abaddon, I would be too screwed. I unsheathed my weapon slowly and changed it into a Magic Sword. Just as I was ready to strike using the Earth Fissure skill, the figure stood up.

"We meet again," the figure said.

"Huh?" I was taken aback. What is this guy saying?

"Looks like you have gotten stronger. I'm impressed. And you even alter the destiny of that pure elf woman. Not bad," the figure said and chuckled.

"What are you talking about?!" I pointed my magic sword to the figure.

"Don't think I didn't know? We faced in the past and I suffered an insufferable defeat. During that time, you were just a mere Magic Knight. Now, you seemed to be able to get stronger than in your pathetic self," the figure said and turned around.

I was stunned seeing who this was. Its Abaddon, and for him to know that I was a Magic Knight in the past...This... what is going on? How did this guy know that I returned from the past?

"You surprised? Don't be. It's natural. I even have to go back in time just to return to my former body. And look, you seemed to be my destined enemy," Abaddon grinned and he exudes his heavy aura.

The surge is like a wave in the ocean during a storm. Its so heavy! What a killing intent! I struggled to keep my feet intact into the ground. I gritted my teeth and struck the sword into the ground to act as an anchor. This was obviously not the same bloodlust he gave when we fought last time. This is different!

"Heh, are you surprised? This is my top form. Even if you are the strongest person in this world, you still can't match to fight against me since you are just a mere mortal. Facing me is already your limit. You won't be able to beat me down. I am your nemesis and I am your bane. You won't be able to attack me!" he flicks his fingers and a long spear appeared.

"Time to die!" and he throws the spear towards me like a javelin.

I didn't move but I made my body straight and ready my sword. Just before the spear strikes, the demon I raised from the dead blocks my body and catches the spear by sacrificing himself.

"What?!" Abaddon was taken aback. He didn't expect me to block his spear. Looks like the demon raised from the dead is out of his plan.

"You... you are a necromancer!" Abaddon shook as he point his finger on me.

I grinned and looked at him.

"Heh, you think that you are just some big shot already? I don't think so. And although I find it strange for you to know my secret, I don't need to hold back. You are a nuisance. Also, don't think that you are my bane. In my eyes, you are just a passing character!" I raised my sword in the air and grinned. Hot surge of air gathered into my sword before my sword burst ablaze.

"Prepare to become a roasted guy..."
