Lu Lijun didn’t know whether he should stop or continue. If he had seen even a little hesitation or reluctance in Jiang Yuyan’s eyes, it would have been easier for him to back down but the situation was the opposite.
’She is sure thinking I am elder brother. Will she regret it once she knows it was me? I need to tell her who she is with,” he inhaled deeply as his sight was fixed on those needy ones. “Yuyan, I am….”
”Don’t stop,” she said even before Lu Lijun could say more.
Her sweet and low voice sounded seductive to his ears but he didn’t let himself lose to it. “Yuyan…Umm…”
Once again, before he could say more, she moved her head up and kissed him. Lu Lijun had no other option but to give her what she wanted. Moreover, he himself wanted it more than her but only when she was in the right state of mind. She kissed him and Lu Lijun gave in to her. Kissing her passionately while being on top of her and pressing her under him, his one hand supported him at the elbow while the other one moved to her waist and then moved up inside her hospital shirt. Sitting at the edge of the bed, he caressed her messy hair and straightened her top which was misplaced due to his actions. He wiped her wet lips with his thumb and said, “We can continue this once you are completely better.”
Jiang Yuyan only looked at him but didn’t react to what he said as she heard him again, “Now sleep. It’s late.” He put the quilt on her and stood up from the bed. “Good night.”
”Good night,” she said and closed her eyes.
Lu Lijun went to the couch to sleep on it. He was glad that she didn’t ask him to sleep with her or he didn’t know how he would bear it and had controlled himself. He slept on the couch and closed his eyes, trying hard to not think about what they had just done now.
’I didn’t know this side of her. To me, she was always a cold and composed woman but tonight…. I guess it was always for the elder brother. She still loves him the same,’ Lu Lijun sighed out deeply, ‘I envy you, elder brother. I wish she had loved me even a little of how much she always loved you. I wish to take your place and you can take mine just for the sake of getting that love from her. Even though it would have lasted for a short time I wouldn’t mind dying for it.’
Lu Lijun closed his eyes while thinking about ifs and buts. Jiang Yuyan opened her eyes and looked at the guy sleeping lying on the couch with his eyes closed. She could only stare at him instead of sleeping as if there won’t be any next time when she would get such a chance.

The next day it was the time for Jiang Yuyan’s discharge. Since she and Lu Lijun woke up, both acted normal where Lu Lijun instructed what to do and informed her about going home while Jiang Yuyan was silent and only nodded to what he said and followed it.
They were finally ready to go home. On the way back home, inside the car, Jiang Yuyan was staring outside the car window while Lu Lijun was still thinking about the previous night.
’Does she now know it’s me? She didn’t call me by my name even once so I can make sure about it. But An Tian said she is fine now which means she must be able to see it’s me, isn’t it? That means she knows it was me with her last night or she still thinks it was her dream and that was brother Qiang,’ he sighed helplessly, ‘This is all so confusing to understand and to know what’s going on in her mind. I hope she won’t try to get away from me after knowing she did it with me. It’s fine if we both pretend that something like that didn’t happen.
They reached home where Martha welcomed them. Lu Lijun took Jiang Yuyan to her room. He made her sit on the bed, “Rest for a while. I will be back soon,” he assured her, knowing he had to take care of her.
Jiang Yuyan nodded and rested in bed while Lu Lijun came to the living room where An Tian was waiting for him.
As the two talked about her, Lu Lijun asked, “Now is it clear for her that it is me? She seems fine.”
An Tian smiled lightly. That was a mysterious smile that was hard to guess what he was thinking. “Why are you in such a hurry to let her know it’s you. Are you scared that she will do something to you thinking of you as Lu Qiang?”
Cough! Lu Lijun cleared his throat, “I..Think it will be better if she knows who is with her.”
”Don’t worry. Give her some time,” An Tian said.
”What do you mean?”
”To give her some time. Is it that difficult for you?” An Tian asked.
”I don’t mean it like that. It’s just….”
An Tian could understand what Lu Lijun was going through and said, “Let things happen the way they are going. Don’t think much. Let her do what she wants. I will go and see her before leaving.”
An Tian went to Jiang Yuyan’s room while Lu Lijun didn’t know what to draw from what An Tian said.
